Welcome to The Historic Bates Mansion, a one of a kind vintage event venue in Tucson, Arizona, where history, character, and a little bit of mystery come together.
Owned and operated by husband and wife duo Jerry and Vanessa Holland, The Historic Bates has been thoughtfully reimagined into a warm, rustic hacienda inspired venue with the charm of an old Tucson pueblo. Together, they transformed the historic property while preserving the details and personality that make it unlike anywhere else.
The mansion was once home to prominent Tucson businessman C.T.R. Bates and later served as a gathering place for the prestigious Mountain Oyster Club. Today, the property has been fully renovated to create a beautiful and comfortable setting for celebrations while still honoring its colorful past.
Throughout the mansion and grounds, guests will find inviting event spaces, thoughtful amenities, an in house caterer, and plenty of unexpected details waiting to be discovered.
The Historic Bates welcomes weddings, quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, anniversaries, holiday parties, corporate events, receptions, celebrations of life, and just about any other reason you can think of to bring your favorite people together.
